The Grand Lake Tourist Park
The Grand Lake Tourist Park is located just 13kms off the Trans Canada Highway on Route 401. Only 28 kilometers east of Deer Lake and it's regional airport.
Open from Mid-May to Mid-October
The park is surrounded by scenic woodlands and waterways which offer plenty of hiking, fishing, and boating. The park is only minuites away from the "Grand Lake Narrows" where fishing for trout or salmon is said to be the best in western Newfoundland.
Moose are plenty in the area and can be seen from the Trans Canada Trail. This trail is close to the park and it offers an endless playground for ATV's, mountain bikes or hiking.
Pictured left is a map of Newfoundland that can be enlarged by clicking on it. It is then that you can better find your way to this natural and pristine get-a-way. We hope to see you soon.
